What a breath of fresh air! Not only a solid, biblical look at the family, but also a very practical guide on how to the the 'Father', 'Mother', and 'Parent' that God wants us to be. This book excels in that each chapter has something of value to learn and apply.
A very readable, refreshingly biblical perspective on the family and parenting that has a fine balance between helpful principles and the practical realm. If there is one book to have in library regarding parenting, this is it. A 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being excellent. It provides encouragement from one who has been there who understands both the difficulties and joys of marriage and raising children.
